11/28/06 - Diary Entry: My We

11/22/06 - RealTime Infographic!
Using CyberHypDyn's new cellular pager-style biorhythmic unit and some Logic created code we now have a daily-updated schematic of the 3 members of the Shiteasters. The red dot location of the Shiteasters is for relation only and does not move. This chart will live in the about section.

11/21/06 - Prometheus & Pandora Puppet Show added to YouTube
It took months of hard work, but we finally have the video of our puppet show at Machine Project up. Keep in mind that they're photothermains, so we had to perform in near-darkness. If the video appears to be low quality, please adjust your monitor.

11/04/06 - Songs of Scorn for Boston Noisemash
East-coast fans should mark their calanders, all through the weekend of December 15th, the shiteasters will be performing on the streets of Boston as part of the Noisemash festival. This year we will be typing messages to the passing crowds, as translated to music in by t.y.p.o.r.g.a.n.i.s.m's Visual Composer. We're told we have a pretty choice spot on Kingston street, but if you don't see us, ask around, the organizers have been fickle with locations in the past.

When you enter the program's compose mode, it takes in key presses and converts them to notes in real time, leading to songs like:

53163 - "This is words, not music, and yet you listen. You god damn sheep, wake up"

53164 - "These are words you can't read, now think of all the songs you can't hear"

53165 - "There was a song playing before you heard this, but now all of the sudden you're listening?"

53166 - "Do you need a program to hear the music of your typing? That's pathetic."

53167 - "This is the worst song I've made all day, and I've made thousands since breakfast"

If you want a preview, head to the visual composer site and check out songs #53163 - #53167, or use the text above if you want to recreate the song. Resist the temptation to skip capitalization and punctuation. They don't change the notes played, but the delay they incur is vital to capturing the rhythm. Churning out messages at 100 words per minute requires virtuoso concentration, but we have a lot to tell the masses on this rare East-coast visit.

10/29/06 - New Project Page: Radio Graffiti
Shut your mouth. We're playing street rules now.

10/24/06 - Moxophone: 3/16/06 - 10/23/06
Moxy gave us some good jams and plenty of good times, but you can only play an instrument that is intentionally draped over fire so many times before this happens. Seems like something inside busted, we may fix it some day, but for now, one of our youngest instruments is dead.

9/04/06 - Update on Silent G
Luckily, through cutting edge medical treatment, a positive outlook, and a daily dose of vitamin Square Wave, the G is back in the land of the sighted. His color sense is a little off, but doctors say this may improve with time. Thanks for all of your letters, emails, and goodie bags. We will remember all of you come the musical rapture.

8/09/06 - Sad Silent G News
As many of you know, Silent G, cofounder of the Shiteasters and pillar of the square wave community, was recently temporarily blinded while working on a project. He appreciates all of your support, and is feeling much better, although for obvious reasons has not performed or picked up his wire cutters since the accident. He and the Logic are already discussing some redesigns to their stage show to allow for future anticking. This is a very tense time for Silent G, who has aspired to be a visual artist above all else, but when the silver lining of this tragedy is uncovered it will shine like a beacon from this very page. Thank you for all of your support up to this point.

8/06/06 - The Year Man Abandoned Musical Structure
To celebrate the new year we are compiling data for a future data-duet. From industry trade magazines, we have detected a marked increase in both diet product sales due to new year's resolutions and alcohol sales over the holidays. You are going to want to dance to this, you fat sheep.

Riding the success of our post-Soundwalk press, we are getting ready to kick off a series of performances in galleries and clubs up and down the West Coast. Also, having recently finished a correspondance course on EM pulse generation, Silent G has prototyped a real pair of X-Ray Specs, which he will wear while on tour to oggle you hot little groupies. 5/19/06 - Hate box preperations
Sorry for the lack of updates. Some legal wrangling, the ongoing construction of our epic puppet box and planning for a possible West coast tour have forestalled new projects lately. In the meantime, set out for Long Beach for our latest live set.

5/06/06- Acid Rain Stick Update
We have improved the acid rain stick, and uploaded a video of its new power in action here.

5/01/06 - Press Release
Just a heads up, we'll be playing the Long Beach Soundwalk next month.
