| The Logic - Silent G
Throttleman The success of the iPod is a testament to the sorry way we have relations with our music. Soft corners and a round button and the masses crap. But admit it, a set of tiny, hard plastic buttons on the side of your walkman are no way to harness the sounds you hear. The late-model Atari joystick is a masterpiece of human-computer interaction, its handle shaped to the human hand, its base conducive to grabbing and holding, every button affording pressing. It allows us to throttle the volume, weave through the speed, fistfuck sound. After a while, the speed changes will start to damage the tape. Tapes were made to be broken.
